David Christopher Waite
Vitae
David C. Waite has been active in the music, television and film industries for the past twenty (20) years. Over the years, he has promoted successful concerts and performed in a variety of television programs, including as an ensemble member of the Emmy award winning children’s television series entitled Magic Door and as the host of the popular children’s series entitled Energy Express, for which he won an Emmy award in 1993 for outstanding children’s programming. He also created, produced, financed and hosted a news format television pilot entitled Good News Today.
Mr. Waite has played minor roles in various movies over the years and has performed in a variety of theatre shows, commercials and corporate films, including for McDonalds, Amoco, NBC-NFL, Bank One and Household Finance. Mr. Waite made a variety of on-camera non-speaking appearances in the movie entitled How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Most recently David completed a few short films touring a list of film festivals and a spec pilot entitled, "My Daddy is the President" in which he played the president of the United States.
In addition, Mr. Waite has been developing and managing a variety of real estate projects in Chicago, Illinois, Boston, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island, Hammond, Indiana, St. Louis, Missouri and Reading, Jamaica.
Mr. Waite attended Roosevelt University and Boston University on full scholarships where he pursued undergraduate studies in pre-law and Theatre.
Currently, he is devoting a majority of his business time and energies to the success of the Planet III and its associated film, television & musical projects and is working in an executive producer/producer capacity on said Projects. See more of David's work by clicking on imdb
