Television is a medium that has changed the world, making us a global village. But over the years we have become voyeurs. Local and National news today serves us ample portions of violence, tragedy and chaos. Many news programs have tried to incorporate a few minutes of some uplifting information, but this often feels like an afterthought. And the argument holds that “Good News” or positive stories don’t sell. This is not true. A considerable number of people wish there was a positive alternative…something informative and provocative. America needs to be reprogrammed.
Introducing “Good News Today!”
A hybrid of “Entertainment Tonight” and the “Evening News”, this program brings a balanced perspective to the information of today. In an alternative news format, it is presented in an upbeat and constructive way that will appeal to both adults and children. It will also give positive solutions to the problems we face each day. We hope to provide an affirmative grounding to the fertile and pliable human mind.
